Une île.
Young french polynesian rippers Matahi Drollet and Keoni Yan having fun in their paradise. Last May we shot for Bic Sport their full range of surfboards, from longboard to shortboard. Matahi and Keoni, usually pictured in massive days at Teahupoo or in competitions, were both showing their local knowledge smiling all the way on any craft - Quite a nice moment to share.me good result competing all over. Thanks to Ben Thouard: http://benthouard.com Bic Sport : http://www.bicsportsurfboards.com Song: Jacques Brel: Une île Jacques Brel was in love with French Polynesia, he used to live in Marquesas Island.
Hello People Moving To San Francisco!
Please stop complaining about the wind and fog. If you don't like it here, you can always live in Walnut Creek, Livermore or San Jose. (You'll pleasantly bake at a mere 100 degrees during the summer.)
Have A Great Weekend!
Try and make it out onto or into the water this weekend.

What? Are you kidding me? I've travelled half way around the world (cyberly) to see something much more pleasing to the eyes. Good God man, pelicans!

Rube Goldberg.
Seated kiteboarding in light wind in Goa! This kite-scooter, despite being an amateur-built and somewhat crude and heavy prototype, is a fast, incredibly versatile, easy to operate and amazing sail craft Designed for light wind and flat water conditions it is best powered by any light wind surf kite, the bigger the better.
Hokey smokes, Bullwinkle. There has to be a better way to get out onto the water than on that contraption.
Changes To This Blog.
I almost broke out of the corral to get away from Typepad. Then I saw what the other blogging platforms had to offer. So I'm staying put for now.

Fish On Fridays.
Batoidea is a superorder of cartilaginous fish commonly known as rays and skates, approximately 560 described species in thirteen families. They are in the fish subclass Elasmobranchii, along with sharks, to which they are closely related. Rays are distinguished by their flattened bodies, enlarged pectoral fins that are fused to the head, and gill slits that are placed on their ventral surfaces.
