Actually it was really windy, a sailboat capsized outside the Gate by Seal Rocks with all hands lost and a kiteboarder was found nose down in the surf off of Ocean Beach. Lesson: know your limits.

"Take a picture! Take a picture!" I implored Peconic Jeff. All my teeth were where they belonged and the pain wasn't bad, so my focus was on getting a good photo for the blog.

Here is another tid bit from "He's a demented sailor who will sail anytime and anyplace."

Hard flat landing.

I do a painful split as my front leg slides towards the nose.

To reduce the weight behind the painful split, I smash my face into my 4.5.

Sliding slowly off of the gear (head goes underwater, now an ice cream headache accompanies the pain in my right leg and taste of blood in my mouth) it occurs to me that I've had a fine last session of the year, and perhaps I should call it a day. So I did.

I need a scotch folks, so excuse me while I exit stage left towards the bar to raise a glass to, "The Baddest Blogging Sailor Around," Michael Alex! .....Okay, Jeff you're pretty bad too!
