Tea And Training Wheels For The Tillerman

Who needs sailing in the city when you can sail an outrigger canoe in Tahiti.
Of course we know that the Tillerman would never be caught dead in a boat
with training wheels.

Bring tea for the Tillerman
Steak for the sun
Wine for the women who made the rain come
Seagulls sing your hearts away
'Cause while the sinners sin, the children play

Oh Lord how they play and play
For that happy day, for that happy day

note: The Tillerman has series about sailing in the city.

A Blast From The Past.

The Hobie Monocat.
I almost bought one a couple of years ago. She's fast, fun and stable.

Hobie in it's infinite wisdom replaced her with the god awful rotomolded
(made from recycled Clorox bottles) Bravo.

note: (These are the same guys who stopped production
of the 14 in North America.)

Geddy Up Little Horsey!

Philippe sailing his Finn.
Looking good brother, looking good!

The FINN dinghy fills the slot for the HEAVYWEIGHT DINGHY in the Olympics.
It was designed in 1949 by Rickard Sarby (a canoe sailor) and was first used at the
Olympics in 1952 in Helsinki. It has been used at every Olympic regatta since then.

Sailing Photo Of The Day.

I have three questions for you.
    1.) What is this boat?
(clues: King Arthur's wizard. I have a rocket in my pocket.)
2.) What is wrong with this picture? It has to do with sailing not architorture.

3.) Where was this photo taken?

Update: Take a look at this video.

When was the last time you went sailing?
Take a look at the tag.

Don't drop her!
Now where did that batten go?

Dubai by the bay? London....the Thames?
Come on Edward, you know where this is!
