Paraw!

The Paraw is a double outrigger sail boat found in the Philippines. The paraw is similar to a proa, however, the paraw has two outrigger(s) or katig. With a fresh breeze, and an Ilonggo at the helm, the paraw is a strikingly fast boat, making 20 to 30 kph through the waves.

The Belgium-flagged Privilege 495 catamaran Ker-Tidou exploded shortly after sunrise last weekend on the coast of Baja California Sur, in a fishing village called Bahia de Tortugas. The cat burned to the waterline and sank within 40 minutes.

Thierry Bonnefille escaped the inferno by scrambling aboard his dinghy. According to Enrique Castro of El Gordo's fuel dock the boat had been experiencing electrical issues, which may have interacted with cooking gas to cause the explosion.

I guess the boat is not for sale anymore.

The USS Independence (LCS 2) can reach speeds of more than 40 knots (46mph). The 419-foot vessel  has a range of 10,000 nautical miles (19,000 km) and can also operate in water less than 20 feet deep.
