Dinghy Sailing

Geddy Up Little Horsey!

Philippe sailing his Finn.
Looking good brother, looking good!

The FINN dinghy fills the slot for the HEAVYWEIGHT DINGHY in the Olympics.
It was designed in 1949 by Rickard Sarby (a canoe sailor) and was first used at the
Olympics in 1952 in Helsinki. It has been used at every Olympic regatta since then.

Sailing Photo Of The Day.

I have three questions for you.
    1.) What is this boat?
(clues: King Arthur's wizard. I have a rocket in my pocket.)
2.) What is wrong with this picture? It has to do with sailing not architorture.

3.) Where was this photo taken?

Update: Take a look at this video.

When was the last time you went sailing?
Take a look at the tag.

Don't drop her!
Now where did that batten go?

Dubai by the bay? London....the Thames?
Come on Edward, you know where this is!

Wacky Wednesday (2). The Tillerman In Roses.

Our field agent captured an image of the Tillerman testing out his new secret
weapon at the World Laser Master Championships .

He plans on transmitting his evil thoughts to the competition, forcing them to sink
their boats and then descend to the dark deep depths of Davey Jones' locker where
they will be devoured by the fishes.

Never forget that Laser sailors are cruel, vicious and soulless creatures.

Sailing Photo Of The Day.

The Dingle Dolphin says hello to a 420.
Hey pal, do have any fish?

Everyone loves the king of the sea,
Ever so kind and gentle is he,
Tricks he will do when children appear,
And how they laugh when he’s near!

They call him Fungi, Fungi, faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Fungi, lives in a world full of wonder,
Flying there-under, under the sea!

This wild photo is from Sail.ie. Dear guy who writes that blog,
could you enable comments? I keep getting bounced out.
