Ocean Kayaking at its best on a Epic Kayaks V14 Surfski at Cape Recife. The broad peninsula juts out into the Indian Ocean refracting swells to create the perfect surfski wave. On the right day paddlers can ride swells and waves for over a mile. The potential for foil riding is incredible, famous Hawaiian water-man Kai Lenny could easily ride a wave for 2 miles at The Point.
Jim Coffey fires up the 18 meter Cascada Truchas in an open canoe, breaking the record set twenty years earlier by Steve Fraizer. For more on the historic descent and the Mexico Mission, check out Cross Strokin' 5 and whitewater.ca
